Date Night Makeup

Hello Everyone! This week I'm posting a date night make up, because I'm going out. So I thought it would work for a date, if you want to woo that special someone but not look to made up at the same time. I did so a little bit of a smokey eye, since it will be nighttime. However, smokey eyes don't always need to be done in really dark colors. I used a darker metallic taupe, which has a pink undertone. The pink undertone works with my skin tone, and I tied it in by using a warm blush and pink gloss. Since my eye makeup is heavier, I went really simple on the lips and cheeks.
There it is! Thanks for reading, please leave your comments below! See you next time!

1930's Inspired Makeup

Hey everyone! It's that time again! This week I was really feeling the 1930's, so I decided to do a look inspired by it. The thought behind the eye makeup in the 30's was that you matched your shadow to your eye color. I decided to use greys, and you also want to pull the color up to the eyebrow. Grey was another alternative if you had green eyes. I didn't thin out my brows, but that was another characteristic of the 30's aesthetic. I did do a dark lip, so this is a look I would probably do for nighttime. Or if you want to wear it during the day, I might suggest a brighter raspberry lip color. I went a little 1940's Veronica Lake with my hair. Here it is! If you have any questions, please write them below! I love to read your comments!
